The cottage gives one a feel of time travelling to the past with even the smallest things having an antique-ish touch. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making us feel instantly at home, especially the four-legged members of the family. Close to the Nottingham pub, the Junction, Spar and a great coffee shop
The size of the cottage was fine for our single night stay, but I imagine it can start to feel a little cramped for longer stays. Electric blankets are not part off the facilities (a gas heater was provided, which more than sufficed), but keep this in mind for colder nights. While the location is close to many great spots, it can be easily missed the first time, especially at night.

Maybe and electric blanket on the bed...?.. Although our stay was relatively warm...the snow arrived the morning we left and am sure if we had stayed another night that wld have put the cherry on the top of the most delightful cottage....

Perfect location, character filled cottage, lovely hosts, two and four legged ones! The stay could not have been more perfect for us, attending a very special wedding down the road.
There was nothing that we did not like about our stay.
