sage cottage, lithgow - close to everything

We loved the quiet area and beautifully appointed cottage. We loved everything! It was so inviting we stayed in both nights and enjoyed the fire inside and out. The underfloor bathroom heating, heating in all rooms, renovated house with a well appointed kitchen. The decor and comfort was really well done. Would recommend and would love to come back. Thank you to our host, so helpful and prompt with messages.

It was beautifully styled, clean, with every possible thing we could have possibly needed. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and spacious, the bathroom is luxurious (particularly with the underfloor heating and lovely smelling shampoo/conditioner/bodywash). The couch was comfy (we had a couple of very satisfying naps) and it was so lovely to put the fire on and read or do watercolours. The host was so thoughtful, even putting electric blankets on the beds because it was going to be cold.

There was nothing we didn't like, other than the town of Lithgow was mostly closed when we went for an afternoon stroll, but that was on us for not checking, and honestly, we went and had a look at the view from Hassans Well lookout, then went back to sage cottage and relaxed.

Relaxing vibes, nice furniture, close to amenities, ample parking, quiet neighbours, heated bathroom floor!

Strip on the outside of the front door made the door a little hard to close but definitely not a big issue.

Such a cosy & comfortable stay! It was clean and Angela kindly kept our stay warm, which was perfect for the cold nights. We didn’t want to leave & wish we would’ve stayed longer. Stay was also close to grocery shops and local sights. Would definitely stay again!
