Hill Suites

Het appartement was super ruim en heel schoon, met een prachtig uitzicht! We konden al eerder inchecken en werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Het zwembad was heerlijk verkoelend!

Het is heel gehorig. Het restaurant had ik geappt om te reserveren, maar daar is nooit op gereageerd. Uiteindelijk hebben we daar wel kunnen eten, was oké.

There are definitely some pros, but also quite a few cons, so I’ll start with the positives: - First of all, the staff were wonderful. Everyone was friendly, smiling and in a good mood, and they were always happy to help when needed. We felt safe and genuinely welcomed. - The second big plus is the amazing view from the window and balcony 🌅 It’s one of those places where you just want to sit with your morning coffee and enjoy the scenery. - Another positive was the fresh breakfast. However, it was exactly the same every day, and after two days we honestly didn’t feel like having it anymore but that's on us.

Unfortunately, there were also things that really disappointed us: - The biggest issue was the swimming pool opening hours: 10:00–19:00. Honestly, what is the point of having such a beautiful pool if guests can barely use it? 😅 We specifically chose these apartments because of the pool. We travel quite actively, spending our days hiking, exploring and climbing mountains, so the idea was to come back in the evening and relax by the pool after a long day. But with the pool closing at 19:00 and the sunset being around 19:30, you can’t even enjoy the sunset from the pool. We didn’t manage to use it even once during our four-night stay simply because we were always returning from our trips after it had already closed. Such strange rules for a place where the pool is clearly one of the main attractions. - Another thing to keep in mind is the access. If you’re not experienced with mountain roads, getting there might be a little stressful. Also, quite a few taxis either won’t come up here or don’t want to take you to the property, which can make things inconvenient.
