This was a great find for being in Mercer where there is no hotel. The host, Vick, is kind and welcoming. The studio is very comfortable—with an unexpectedly supremely comfortable bed and cozy blankets on the bed and sofa, and surprisingly spacious feeling. I don’t use the sauna or laundry but the availability of both was a bonus. Nice bathroom with a large tub and outfitted with any toiletries you may have forgotten. Easy independent access through their garage. Easy street parking.
There’s nothing really I didn’t like! I can only clarify that this is the basement in a private home and not a standalone guest house or hotel, so there are a few obvious differences: I could hear a bit of voices and footsteps carrying from above, the big tub could not be filled all the way before water stopped being hot, and there is a single door locked from the studio side between the rest of the house. BUT I provide this just for clarity and not complaint. I really loved my stay and 100% plan to stay there on any future visit!
