The apartment is the perfect distance between the Hobart William Smith campus and downtown. There was space for a bicycle in the entryway which made it a 5 min trip to campus and even less to get downtown.
There really is not much negative to say about this place. The only way to access the apartment is via a narrow flight of stairs. The door to the bathroom sticks and was very difficult to close- I am not sure if it is always like that.

For me, the location was optimal because it was only a short walk to visit my family. The accommodations were perfect for me as I went solo this time, but I think it would be great for a couple as well. I really liked having the fan tower in the bedroom for the heat and the white noise.
The shower is on the smaller side, but water pressure and heat were great. I think my biggest struggle was finding an outlet to plug in my laptop in the living room and my charger and heating pad in the bedroom. Also, it should be noted that the stairs are vintage steep which could be a challenge for some, though not a problem for me.

Cute place, very clean, homey but not cluttered.
I was cold, though I do run on the cold side. A space heater would have made this a perfect time.
