Excellent location. Just walk across the small road to the beach. Room is basic but some facilities like Coway hot and cold water dispenser, coffee and tea bags, microwave, sofa and television are available at the common lounge. Comfortable bed and clean room. You can have meals (bring your own) at the cottage with sea breeze and beautiful sea view.
Perhaps a net to be installed at the toilet window to avoid insects coming into the room. Anyway, no insects were found during my stay.

Secluded but still not far away from the city. Relaxing beach and homely vibe. The owners Paula and Shane were both so very nice. Has a well equipped communal kitchen giving you the option to cook your own food which is a bonus if you’re a bit sick of eating out while travelling.
Some may find it’s a little out of the way from the city, but it’s less than a 10 minute drive to the city and I could get a grab driver to and from the property to the city for like RM10.

The owner and her dad were very friendly and welcoming.
The accommodation units were new, clean and comfortable.
Expansion to the lodge are currently being undertaken, yet it did not impact our stay.
The lodge was right by the beach, which was lovely.
The amount of washed up litter on the beach was saddening, which was beyond the proprietor's control.

Easy to locate and near the beach. Given good instructions on how to self check-in too. Common pantry has water dispenser and self-service coffee.
Cleanliness could be better. Head of the bed were obviously very old and stained. Floors of the toilet looks like it wasn’t cleaned or scrubbed at all for a long time. There was cockroach apppearing at night as well.
