OLD TOWN GOTHIC ARCH Apartment

A very comfortable apartment in the heart of the old town right next to the cathedral- beautiful setting. We happened to be there for the amazing human tower festival which took place outside the apartment so we had the best view from the balcony. A great atmosphere with a huge procession and marching bands - a very special experience.

It was great!

Location is great, right in the heart of Old Town by the Cathedral, easy to find. Good pressure for the shower. Nice to have a balcony for some daylight as the apartment is quite dark.

The bathroom was not very clean with hair from the previous guests on the floor and in the shower, there was a lot of damp in the bedroom and the lounge, which gave the apartment an unpleasant smell. There had been a lot of heavy rain recently which may have added to the issue. The people in the upstairs apartment were very noisy every evening, seems a child was running up and down the floor all night. Amazed we had to pay to have bed linen and towels provided! Not had that since the early 90's!! Bedroom has no natural light. A toaster would have been useful in the kitchen. We booked a few weeks before so had limited choice and were led by the high rating of 9 from previous reviewers. Not sure I would agree with that rating but all depends what your expectations are. I appreciate it is an old building but more care needed with maintenance and cleaning.
