    Good things first, rooms are great size, bathroom is lovely. Staff is helpful and available. Now bad stuff, even though they knew we were reaching the rooms were not cleaned. There were used bottles and dirty packages. Off season doesn't mean they won't keep stuff ready for people coming. The swimming pool was not clean at all. Was a disappointment.

    Desert Castle Resort offers a solid brick-and-mortar structure and a great location near the 'Road to Heaven,' making it feel more like a real resort compared to the nearby tents. However, the experience is currently not worth the high price. The resort suffers from a total lack of management, poor hygiene in the restaurant and pool, and an extremely limited food menu. Until the staff is trained and the insect problem is solved, it is hard to justify the cost. Pros: • Excellent Location: Very close to the "Road to Heaven." • Better Construction: Solid brick rooms are much better than the tent structures found elsewhere in Dholavira. • New Property: The building itself is new and has good potential. • Cons: • Poor Hygiene: Flies and insects in the dining area; swimming pool and bathrooms were not properly maintained. • Unprofessional Staff: Reception was empty on arrival; staff appeared unhygienic and untrained. • Limited Food: Very basic and repetitive meals (bread/tea for breakfast; only 2-3 items for lunch/dinner) despite the high room rates. • Lack of Amenities: Slow/non-functional Wi-Fi and we had to constantly ask for basic supplies like towels and pillows.

    It's a relatively new resort in Dholavira, well located close to Road to Heaven. The resort is reasonably well laid out and rooms are decent. But there are hardly any facilities and staff is untrained. The swimming pool was filled with dirty water and there were cobwebs everywhere.
