Hotel Elegant 2

The accomodation was great value for money. The rooms were very clean, and the bed comfortable. The foyer area is a bit outdated, but aside from this there was no down sides. It was also very close (~10 min walk) from the train station.

Finding the hotel was a bit confusing. On google maps/ yandex go the name of the Hotel is Vella Elegant 2 (there is an identical Vella Elegant 1 across the street), as opposed to Hotel Elegant.

Excellent location and great breakfast This was a great choice for an overnight stop in Andijan. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and right at the top of the main shopping street, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city on foot. The breakfast was another highlight, with a plentiful buffet offering a wide variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay that suited my needs perfectly for a short visit to Andijan.

L'hôtel est à deux pas de la gare : il suffit de traverser l'avenue et de suivre la route en face de vous. Attention, l'hôtel dispose de deux bâtiments de part et d'autre de la route. Le bâtiment principal semble être à gauche. C'est là que se trouvent la piscine (...vide au moment de mon passage) et le spa. Le second bâtiment est donc forcément à droite et est repérable avec son espèce de tour qui abrite l'ascenseur. L'hôtel est confortable et accueillant. Ma chambre individuelle était simple et élégante. Bon petit déjeuner, wifi impeccable. Je relèverais tout de même un problème : l'insonorisation est mauvaise : on entend très clairement les voisins. A noter également que j'avais demandé à pouvoir bénéficier du service de réveil et que je ne l'ai pas eu. Pour info, il y a quelques restos à droite lorsque l'on sort du second bâtiment et surtout un bazar bien caché, à ne surtout pas louper.

Was very easy to get to from the train station.

The description implies there is a toilet in the en suite bathroom and a bath. This was not the case, the toilet is shared and outside of the room and there was no bath, only a shower. Some of the staff were not particularly friendly. Someone knocked on my door at 5am. Possibly they were waking up the rest of their tour group. It’s unacceptable for a tour guide to knock loudly on the wrong room and wake up other guests.
