Villa Bumi

We were three girls visiting from Australia and absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect and so close to everything. There were two laundries nearby, only about a one-minute Grab bike ride or less than a five-minute walk away. We also loved being so close to Camp June Beach and lots of great breakfast spots, including Copenhagen Café. The villa itself was tucked away in a hidden, peaceful location, which made it feel really private and quiet. We also really appreciated that we didn’t experience any issues with bugs during our stay, although we did make sure to use insect repellent each night before bed. Overall, we loved how convenient, peaceful, and well-located the villa was!

The main downside was that although we loved how hidden and private the villa felt, the alleyway leading to it could feel a little scary at times, especially if you were a girl travelling alone. Since there were three of us, we personally felt okay and didn’t feel too worried. The alleyway itself was generally quiet, but there are quite a few other villas nearby, so we did see other travellers around, which made it feel a bit more comfortable. We also noticed that on some nights the hot water would run out after two people had showered, leaving only cold water for the next person. Another small downside was the pool system restarting in the morning, which was quite loud and could sometimes wake us up, even with the villa doors closed. Other than these things, we really enjoyed our stay and found the villa to be a lovely place overall.

So close to everything but still quiet and tucked away

Villa très agréable, nous y avons passé un super séjour de 3 nuits. Très bien placée. Hôtes réactifs et au petit soin. Je recommande vivement pour ceux en recherches d’un petit nid douillet pendant leur vacances à Canggu.
