The location is perfect: in the middle of the jungle but right across from the beach and next to some great restaurants: Bom Bom-Mosana. It felt weird that there were no window panes and that we were totally immersed in the nature (screens of course, although no problem with the mosquitoes). Bianca is very helpful and attentive!! She went out of her way to make us feel at home! Did a nature tour with Corinna Dreher and we enjoyed it very much! Saw sloths, poison frogs and learned about nature. We recommend to walk all the way to La piscina: it is so worthwhile!!

Two friends and I just spent six nights at Utopia at Bluff Beach and it was a truly memorable stay. Bianca, the host, picked us up from the airport, which immediately made everything feel easy and welcoming. When we arrived, the house was already stocked with coffee, milk, and thoughtful staples. Bianca has an incredible knowledge of the island and a real gift for sharing what makes it special. She introduced us to several great local restaurants, provided complimentary rides when needed, and offered insider tips about places and people we never would have discovered on our own. She also knows the local tours well and suggested we take a fascinating poison dart frog tour, which turned out to be one of the most unique experiences of our trip. She is also a massage therapist, and two of us had excellent massages with her. The setting is stunning: jungle behind the house and ocean directly in front. The beach is just steps away, and while the surf is too strong for swimming, it’s beautiful to walk along and listen to at night. The open floor plan lets breezes flow through from all directions, and we loved falling asleep to bird calls and jungle sounds — it truly feels like another world. The house itself is very well thought out, with everything you might need. Whenever a small issue came up, Bianca responded immediately, bringing extra blankets and pillows and even restocking us with milk and a big bunch of bananas when we ran out. The location is also ideal. Several beachside restaurants are nearby, and the center of town — with many more dining options and shops — is about a 25-minute ride away. There’s also an inexpensive pool club within a five-minute walk where we spent a relaxing afternoon. I can’t say enough good things about this property or its host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled stay with a host who truly cares about your experience, this is a wonderful choice. I would happily return.
