It is part of a large private retreat, with two other domes nearby. One dome is about 60 feet away, and the other is over 120 feet away. While you may see other guests at these properties during your stay, it is still quite secluded — with your own private hot tub, deck, and fire pit. (Btw, if you’re interested in booking all three domes, please let us know!)
Note: We're currently in the process of building one additional dome a little further down the road (which should be available for rent later this summer!). Construction is only being done during the week, Monday - Friday during normal business hours. If you're staying during the week, you may see a few of our handymen and may hear some occasional noise.
Between exploring the unique features of our dome and enjoying the wooded, mountainside vista, it is the perfect vacation spot. The property is adjacent to a 37-acre private nature preserve, with plenty of hiking trails and areas to explore.
In addition, you’re about 20 minutes away from nearly countless wilderness attractions, including whitewater rafting at Pleasantdale’s Tearcoat Creek, lake swimming at Buffalo Gap Retreat in Capon Bridge, and hunting and fishing within the 400-acre forest of the Edwards Run Wildlife Management Area.
