With 3.5 baths, fully appointed kitchen, large yard and ample deck space to enjoy the 360° views of Southern Utah’s natural beauty, Sego Lily Sunrise has it all. Unwind in the private hot tub after exploring Zion, Bryce Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, or Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Perfect for families, reunions, or group retreats.
The Space:
Located at the mouth of a red rock canyon, with towering red rock hills right in the backyard, Sego Lily Sunrise will take your breath away from the moment you arrive. Situated in one of Kanab's most beautiful subdivisions, Cedar Heights, this property is on over 2 acres, and has unobstructed 360 degree views. Step into this updated, cozy, cabin and get ready to gather, connect, explore, and unwind.
The main level features a large family room with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and sliding doors out to the spacious deck that has room for everyone. This floor also features a fully appointed kitchen that has everything you need to whip up your favorite meals. As of right now the dishwasher is broken, but we are working on getting a replacement. There is a half bath on this floor for your convenience and a master suite featuring a king-sized bed, private bath, and private deck.
Head downstairs to find a second family room with comfortable couches and a TV, a great space to relax or for kids to enjoy a movie night while the adults gather upstairs. This level offers a laundry room with full capacity machines and another master suite featuring a king sized bed, sofa bed, dresser, and a beautiful, spa-like private bathroom.
From the main level, head upstairs to find two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom 1 features a comfortable king sized bed and a private deck. Bedroom 2 offers a queen sized bed and a private deck.
Sego Lily Sunrise is tastefully designed, but if you'd rather spend time outside, we don't blame you! This property offers stunning views of the surrounding red rock plateaus, ample lawn space for kids and dogs to run, a large deck for outdoor dining and gathering, a private hot tub to soak after a day of hiking and exploring, and expansive, dark starry skies. Located just 20 minutes from the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, 45 minutes from Zion National Park, 90 minutes from Bryce Canyon, 1 hour from Horseshoe Bend, and surrounded by numerous slot canyons, hiking and ATV trails. Bring your friends, family, coworkers, or group retreats. Come, stay and play with us!
Please Note: Guests may park in the driveway or on the street, the garage is NOT for guest use or access.
This dog-centric property allows canine companions for an additional $200 non-refundable pet fee, but cats and other animals are not permitted.

The Neighborhood:
Sego Lily Sunrise is located in the peaceful Cedar Heights subdivision, near red rock cliffs and minutes from downtown Kanab.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts.
Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
Other Things to Note:
Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. This cancellation policy does not apply to HVMB guests.
Unfortunately, we have had a few issues with guests who have damaged the hot tub or left it so dirty, we've had to have hot tub services come after hours to drain/refill or fix the hot tub. If we must service the hot tub due to damage or excessive dirtiness after your stay, you will be charged the actual service cost, with a minimum fee of $125. Dirt, urine, sweat, sunscreen, and lotion all contribute to water so dirty that a drain and refill is necessary. Please shower off before entering the hot tub. Thank you for understanding!

This house was so serene and beautiful. We wanted a family escape from the Fourth of July fireworks as we have dogs and babies that don’t love the loud noises — and this home delivered! The host was extremely responsive to all of my questions and very sweet. The house has a beautiful kitchen that you can cook all of your meals in, a stunning yard and outdoor area, and a great hot tub. Can’t recommend it enough!

We really did love this property. We stayed for 10 days in June. It was just outside of the city limits yet very close to Kanab (within 5 min). Plenty of options to eat close to Kanab. We traveled to Glaziers for food and cooked at the property. The hot tub was lovely for early morning views of the cliffs right behind. The wildlife around the property was so sweet and added to the experience. bunnies, birds including 3 sets of quails that were so cute and always there every night. Neighbors have sheep and you could hear them in the evenings and even a coyote cruised through the property a few times. 2 king rooms upstairs that our aunt and uncle stayed in. 1 king bed and sofa bed downstairs where our kids stayed. The Main bedroom with an attached bathroom on main floor is where my husband and I stayed. We hiked "The Wave"-got lucky and got a last minute permit, Bryce, Zion, Antelope Canyon, North Rim of Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Sand Caves and Belly of the Dragon while we were there. All very accessible and within 1-2 hours drive. We would come back at night and cook at the property. The property has everything you need to make food. some limited spices were available, coffee, pods and dryer sheets for washer and dryer. Tin foil and saran wrap were left from us. Lots of blankets and some games were available. lots of towels for the hottub. Favorite place to sit is on the deck. Micah was very responsive to any issues or problems during our stay. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the cabin! Great location, peaceful and private, a little oasis tucked away in the desert. House was clean, well equipped, comfy beds, nice hot tub and great decks to enjoy the view from. Host quickly responded to questions. Highly recommend.
