Our family of 5 (a couple, grandparent, and two young children, 4 and 1 years old) stayed for two weeks and felt very comfortable in this great house. Lots of amenities and hospitable touches to make you feel welcome. We found the proximity to DC as well as easy access to VA highways very convenient. Highlights were the well-stocked kitchen (a true chef’s kitchen) and the cinema room. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac (no noise from traffic) and we enjoyed evening strolls with our children. We also worked from home and found the internet and workspace setup excellent.
I highly recommend this property and would book again the next time we are in the NoVa/DC area!

The owner did quite a lot to accommodate our trip and assist us with our three young kids. The house is nice however there still seems to be a noticeable smell downstairs that wouldn't go away. We bought air fresheners and kept the windows open but the smell was always there. We were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom which was carpeted and had difficulty sleeping because of the smell. With new carpets and understanding where the smell is coming from and taking care of it, it would be a delightful house to stay in.
