About this cottage rental

Pendre Farmhouse is a traditional Welsh Victorian home, set above the small village of Llwyndafydd near New Quay, Ceredigion. Overlooking a secluded, ancient, wooded valley that winds its way to the sea at Cwmtydu Cove, it’s a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with friends or family. From its private, south-facing position, you’ll enjoy peaceful views across the coastal valley – a truly tranquil backdrop.

Full of period charm and character, this detached farmhouse offers spacious and comfortable accommodation within a large, hidden garden. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for an enjoyable stay: plenty of hot water, comfy beds, a fabulous kitchen, reliable WiFi, and even a well-tuned piano for those who enjoy a little music while away.

The surrounding coastline is rugged and beautiful, with dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, smugglers’ caves, and quiet sandy beaches – a haven for wildlife and an open invitation to adventure. Families and groups of friends will find Pendre the perfect base for exploring.

Nearby, you can discover the coastal harbour towns of New Quay, with its Dylan Thomas connections and dolphin-spotting boat trips, and colourful Aberaeron, famed for its Georgian townhouses. A short drive further brings you to the historic market town of Cardigan, complete with its restored riverside castle. And of course, the Ceredigion Coast Path is right on your doorstep, offering breathtaking views and countless opportunities to explore this unspoilt stretch of Wales.
