Buffalo Lake is known for its crystal-clear water, excellent fishing, and plenty of room for boating and swimming. Inside, you will find a warm, cabin feel. Upstairs, a spacious sleeping loft features cozy dormer nooks with three twin beds. Perfect for kids or extra guests. Step outside to enjoy the brand-new oversized deck, perfect for grilling. Gather with loved ones around the waters edge firepit, or simply soaking in the tranquil lake views. Private sandy beach with dock. Kayak, paddle boat and a few fishing poles included!
Also perfect for a cozy winter getaway! Enjoy sledding right on the property or ice fishing and skating out on the lake. A quick drive from Detroit Mountain recreation area.
The cabin rests on a peaceful 1.5-acre property on a quiet dead end and hilly gravel road, offering complete seclusion and privacy. In winter months, heavy snow or ice may make access more challenging for vehicles without good traction.
There are quite a few steps leading down to the water, making it a bit of a walk but well worth it for the beautiful lake view at the bottom. Upstairs loft sleeping area is also accessed via staircase, there is no door at the top of the stairs.
During the winter months, the cabin can get chilly, especially the main level floors. Pack warm layers and cozy slippers for comfort.
As this is a true cabin experience, bugs may find their way in, especially when seeking warmth in the late summer or fall.
