Comfort on the Mountain Side is the perfect retreat for those dreaming of a regenerating break amid nature, silence and comfort. Located in Piovene Rocchette, at the gates of the Asiago Plateau and a stone's throw from the cultural wonders of Vicenza and Bassano, this flat welcomes you in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for families, friends or travellers in search of authenticity. Inside, you will find two bright bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and the other with three single beds. A bathroom with bathtub, washing machine and dryer are at your disposal. The heart of the house is a large open space with a fully equipped kitchen.
The round table invites you to share slow breakfasts and convivial lunches, while the comfortable corner sofa is perfect for relaxing moments.
Outside, a communal garden provides a quiet corner of greenery.

From here you can set off to discover mountain trails, alpine pastures and historic villages. Piovene Rocchette is a perfect destination for those seeking a relaxing yet stimulating holiday. Situated in the province of Vicenza, at the foot of the mountains, this village offers an ideal location for exploring both the surrounding nature and the artistic and cultural beauty of the Veneto region. From here, in less than half an hour, it is possible to reach Vicenza, a UNESCO heritage city famous for the works of Andrea Palladio, such as the Basilica Palladiana, the Olympic Theatre and Villa La Rotonda. A little further on, Bassano del Grappa welcomes visitors with its famous Ponte degli Alpini, the Grappa Museum and enchanting views along the Brenta river. Thiene and Schio are also worth a visit: the former with its Venetian Gothic-style castle, the latter with interesting examples of industrial archaeology and refined historic gardens. Nature lovers will find numerous opportunities around Piovene. Mount Summano, which dominates the local panorama, offers hiking trails surrounded by greenery and places of spirituality such as the ancient sanctuary. The Asiago Plateau, just a few kilometres away, is a paradise for those who love trekking, mountain biking, forest walks or excursions to the malga. For families or those seeking a quieter outing, the cycle path on the former Piovene-Arsiero railway is perfect for unhurried rides. To complete the naturalistic offer there is the suggestive Pria Park, a hidden corner among the river rocks of the Astico torrent, where it is possible to swim or dive into the clear water from a natural embankment. From a gastronomic point of view, the area is a real discovery. The authentic flavours of Vicenza cuisine can be found in trattorias and agriturismi, where dishes such as Vicenza-style salt cod, polenta, mushrooms, cured meats and the renowned Altopiano cheeses can be enjoyed. In Breganze, home of Torcolato wine, wineries open their doors for visits and tastings among the vineyards, offering authentic and convivial experiences. Weekly farmers' markets offer the opportunity to buy zero-kilometre products directly from local producers. For a different day out, you can choose to reach Lake Fimon in about an hour, or go as far as Lake Garda for a trip among villages overlooking the water, small beaches and local wine tastings. Verona and Venice are also within easy reach and offer unparalleled artistic, architectural and scenic riches. In the evening, nearby towns such as Schio and Thiene offer cosy places for an aperitif, wine bars and small cultural events. Vicenza, on the other hand, offers a livelier evening life, with exhibitions, concerts, festivals and nightclubs. During the summer, festivals and village fairs enliven even the smallest towns, offering a genuine taste of local culture. Piovene Rocchette is easily reached by car via the A31 motorway (Piovene Rocchette exit), by train via Vicenza and Schio, or by bus or taxi. The nearest airports are those of Verona, Venice and Treviso.
