Summerwind Cottage
The Space:
This delightful cottage has a wonderful beach style house design. A spacious great room runs from the front to the back of the cottage and the elevation lets you enjoy the ocean breezes. This cottage has a deck with a gas grill and a large screened porch for swings and outdoor dining. It is within walking distance to all amenities and has fairway and wooded views. The cottage has four TVs, hardwood floors, and wireless internet. The bedding includes one king, one queen, and two twins.
A Seabrook Island Amenity Card is available with this property for the daily fee. The maximum fee for Club access is $185 per week or $30 per day; fees are lower during the off-season (Nov-Feb). This fee is for everyone in the party, not per individual. The Amenity Card gives you access to the Beach Club (with two outdoor pools and a beach area), the restaurants, golf, tennis, the equestrian center, and the Lake House (with one outdoor pool, a fitness center, indoor pool). Some of these amenities do have their own fees associated with them as well such as the restaurants, golf, tennis, the fitness center, and the indoor pool. When you book a reservation with us, we send you the information on how to obtain the card, as it is purchased directly through Seabrook Island.
This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, internet, a DVD player, a fully- equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service, and a starter supply of paper products and detergents.

The rental was clean and ready for our weekend stay. We stayed for three nights and had six guests. Easy departure instructions.

Property was very clean (service does a great job.) Back porch was our favorite spot, beautiful!
The cottage does need furniture update, very worn. Bedding for queen (sheets were pilled and rough) and single bed room also needs replacement. Lighting in single bed room was only by lamp and that worked 1/2 time.
Bug problem…ants…roaches… is this property sprayed regularly? Plan on bringing beach chairs & umbrella. We rented bikes.
Overall, we still had a great time. Seabrook is a wonderful family spot for a low key and relaxing vacation.
