Brilliant location and very responsive host

Location was handy for our purpose. Kitchen was nice and well equipped. The house was warm and cosy.
The main shower was either freezing or boiling, despite all our efforts to regulate the temperature. This made it unusable. There was a bath, however, and the water temperature was fine for that. Most of the floors were unusually creaky and one of the beds in the back twin room had a mattress that was very lumpy and hard.
