The Tiny Retreat With Private Entrance

Private location, clean, on site parking, close to nearby shopping centre. Easy to find once address was provided, close to train station.

Communication with host could have been better. Could not get in contact to get information regarding actual address of property and also to check in. The fridge was not operating correctly. Only the freeze compartment was working

The room was newly renovated and comfortable bed.

Communication with host was difficult. They refused to provide the address until midnight the night before arrival making it hard to plan my trip ahead of time. More transparency about the accommodation would have been appreciated as the property was older and not very nice outside - it also appeared over crowded by the 6 cars parked. One morning I could not get out of the driveway as cars were blocking the entrance and I had to drive over the lawn and out of the neighbours driveway. The accom would not suit larger people as the washing machine makes its challenging to get in and out of the shower. The room was quite dirty (photos attached). Due to location and appearance of the house on approach, I did not feel safe in this area of Brisbane as a single female. The room appeared newly renovated and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of space and room to hang things. It would have been great though to have access to an ironing board.
