Very good price for the room.The host is friendly and helpful.

It was a bit far from the centre of Tirana.It was about 20 minutes away on foot.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. Three days before our arrival, I tried contacting the host several times through Booking.com regarding the check-in and payment. Not a single message was answered. There was no option to pay by card, and nowhere in the listing was it mentioned that cash was the only accepted payment method. Even Booking.com’s customer support told me they would try to reach the host, but apparently they couldn’t get a response either. Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM. We arrived at 2:10 PM after driving for 12 hours. I called the host four times. The first three calls were ignored, and only on the fourth attempt did she answer, saying she would arrive in two minutes. She eventually showed up at 2:37 PM—without so much as a simple apology. To make things even better, she informed us that we would have to wait another 30 minutes because the apartment was not ready. When I explained that we had just completed a 12-hour drive and were exhausted, her response was simply: “You can always cancel and go somewhere else.” It was refreshing to see such confidence from someone who was late, ignored messages and phone calls, and still hadn’t prepared the apartment by the official check-in time. If this is your idea of hospitality, then you’re setting the bar impressively low. I would not recommend staying here if you expect basic communication, professionalism, or respect for your time.
