Lovely Lux Studios near Kingscross and Central London Keyless Smart Check-In

Very pleasantly surprised with the room considering the low cost, everything you need

Walls are a bit grubby but nothing major

* manque d'ustensiles/équipement de la kitchenette, pas de possibilité de cuisson à part une bouilloire ( pourraient être rajoutés : un micro onde, des tasses pour le petit déj, un peu plus de vaisselle/couvert, planche à découper, couteau pointu, ouvre bouteille, torchon ...) * rue très bruyante, mais les boules quies sont fournies

The property is in a great location, super close to the underground and King’s Cross. Very well kept with all amenities included- including Netflix on the TV. Easy check in and check out. Good privacy and no noise issues! Fan also provided which was great for the heat.

The toilet seat was cracked

Location (20 min walk from King's Cross and good transport links to other parts of London like Finsbury Park where we were going to an event), self check-in, good/quick communication, reasonable price compared to other options (worked out kinda the same as staying in a hostel dorm). Coop just down the road and lots of coffee and food places. Clean and comfy bed. Fan in the room which was definitely needed.

Confusing communication through portal/booking/WhatsApp. Didn't have check in details until I messaged through booking.com half an hour before check-in, despite being told they would be available firstly 24 hours before then an hour before. Friendly bot was reassuring me over WhatsApp but naturally I felt a little worried about this. Place was clean but generally felt a bit shoddily renovated and needed cosmetic and major work. Most concerning/dangerous was the electrics. The fuse box would trip and the electricity would go off every time a lamp was accidentally knocked even slightly (on or off) as it was so close to the bed. The lamp already had tape around it so it's probably been an issue for a while. Bathroom light also cut out at some point. Some noise from outside due to having to keep the windows open in the heat, couldn't be helped. No microwave or stove, just mentioning as listed as a studio (this might already be in the description though).
