Beachfront Hotel Hoi An

Swimming pool was awesome. Location was good not far to beach and plenty of places to eat close by

Everything was fine no complaints

Private beach and nice room with lovely view from balcony.

Was great until we tried to book the hotel’s transfer to Da Nang. Messaged on WhatsApp to book. No response after replying to their message within a minute. We were out so had to wait to speak to someone in person when we arrived back to hotel. Then was told that the transfer was cash only and that we must find an ATM, even though we had payed everything else on card at the hotel. We were sent on a wild goose chase by the receptionists at 11pm to find an ATM which we found out en route was going to be a 1 hour round trip. We had to ask staff at another hotel for directions to an ATM, as the beachfront hotel staff didn’t provide any specific guidance beyond saying there was one somewhere along the main road. Turns out we could have just payed by card in the first place. So much time wasted, and unnecessary stress… especially as this all happened so late at night.

Staff are friendly and the pool area is nice. The beach access you get via the restaurant on the front is nice once you get there and the room was nice enough. If you wanted to go to Hoi An then it is convenient to get to and from.

Not actually beachfront, it’s across a road and down a bit then through a restaurant, don’t get me wrong it’s really not far. The room was nice enough but also pretty basic. Location is just not that interesting in my opinion when I compare to other places we’ve stayed on the trip. It’s not unpleasant but also not that interesting either. No ATMs within a 30 minute walk.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

We booked three rooms with sea view. When we arrived, we were told that there are only two rooms with sea view left. They offered us a discount for the one room they changed. It is a kind gesture but I don't need the discount. I'd rather have the sea view which was the reason for booking this hotel in the first place. A bit disappointing but we couldn't change the situation. When we stepped into the rooms, the second disappointment hit us. Looking at the pictures on booking.com we expected a clear and beautiful sea view from our rooms, but you could only picture the sea in the distance behind many trees (see picture attached). When I book a room with sea view that is not what I expect. Overall, the experience was okay. If you expect sea view, you will be disappointed if you don't get the only room on the highest floor, but at least the rooms were clean and had an AC and the staff was kind.
