Kayal Cove Premium Pool Resort & Houseboats Alleppey By VOYE HOMES

The staff were friendly. Location is pretty good. It was a great stay overall.

No major issues or complaints, but I would mention few things to avoi confusion for others. Please do double check the cancellation policy with the hotel before booking. There was a mismatch from what was quoted on Booking.com vs what Voye Homes quoted when they contacted me. Later this was resolved and it was agreed to stick to booking.com cancellation terms (thanks to Voye Homes team). The hotel would need partial payment in advance to reserve the booking and this was not known to me while booking. Better to cleary mention it. Water though filtered had a small odour which seems to be common for all properties in the location.

Staff were very helpful nice place good size room

The hotel is new, and so is the room. The room was spacious, had enough closets, a mini fridge, a big bathroom with a nice shower, a TV, and a security locker. The bed was comfortable. Room service was prompt. There is a basic breakfast and a kitchen to order from, and the food also tasted decent and local-flavored. The location is close to one of the backwater boat jetties, and there are several shops along the road. Since the property is new, the garden still has small plants and trees, but the garden view from the room is okay. There is also a little shed outside where people can sit and work during the non-summer months. Rooms are the same as in the photo.

The pool is much smaller than in the photo and, in my view, not usable. The Pool should be removed, and maybe the owner can have more rooms, because the pool literally has no use as it is now, and I don't think any guest would want to use it the way it is. It is not a resort but a good hotel.

Good location and new set up, ample parking.

Basic amenities are insufficient. For a double occupancy they provide one water and one small soap. The place of accommodation is congested and the pool is less than the size of a small pond, just a few steps from the kitchen. Quality of Breakfast is below average. Lunch was good, but dinner was hopeless.
