Katys Lodge

The hosts were very friendly, kind, and VERY accommodating. Free breakfasts were healthy delicious authentic Sri Lankan food with great serving sizes. The surrounding of the premise and inside was calm, peaceful, orderly, and relaxing. I was able to use their gas stove when I needed it, and they helped me find healthy lunches at a great price. Even though there were two rooms, the host(s) closed the booking so that we have most of the space and the bathroom for ourselves. Also, my plane left at about 7 pm, but the host(s) said I could stay until I left without paying for the last day. They provided me with tea and hot water when I requested without any hesitation. In summary, the host(s) truly wanted the guest(s) to rest, relax, and enjoy their time there rather than thinking ways to make money off of them!

If there was hot water in the bathroom for a shower, it would have been ideal for nighttime showers. But during the day, cold showers rejuvenated.

Calm and safe environment. Host is very helpful. Place is clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed the stay ❤️ Highly recommended

We stayed there for 4 nights and and had 4 breakfasts. Those were really amazing and tasty.

​We just finished up a weekend at Katy's Lodge, and honestly, it felt like visiting a favourite relative's quiet country home. If you're looking to truly switch off and recharge, this is the place. ​The first thing you notice is the peaceful surroundings. It was so lovely and quiet. ​But the quiet doesn't mean you have to rough it! The lodge is packed with all the facilities you could need. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped. ​What really made the trip special was the host. She is the most helpful host! She messaged us before we arrived with clear, easy directions. ​A definite 10/10 stay. Clean, comfortable, fully stocked, and run by a genuinely kind person. You won't regret booking this tranquil escape!
