What I liked most about the property was its excellent location. It is only about a 15-minute walk (or a 5-minute drive) from Kalamaki Beach, with several lovely coffee shops and restaurants just a few minutes away on foot. The accommodation is situated in a quiet residential area with no immediate neighbours, making it very peaceful and relaxing. I also enjoyed the beautiful terrace upstairs and the charming lemon trees around the property, which gave it a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere. The flat itself was well-equipped and had good facilities, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The main downside for us was that there was no hot water for the shower. As we only stayed for one night, we didn’t have the opportunity to contact the host and have the issue resolved, but it was a significant inconvenience. I also felt that the cleanliness did not quite match the very high rating advertised. I would personally rate it around a 6 or 7 out of 10. The bathroom could have been cleaner, with some hair and visible limescale or water stains in the corners. In the kitchen, the kettle and some of the glasses left out were dusty, and there were a few dead mosquitoes around them. Another issue was that the blinds were not blackout as expected. The window directly above the bed let in a lot of sunlight, and we both woke up around 6 a.m. with the sun shining straight into our eyes. Finally, we didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable, and both of us woke up with some back pain the following morning.
