    Hotel Staff is terrible , booking in is terrible, no one answering the phone , tried 50 times (literally) to phone , had to phone the Durban hotel out of desperation to get hold of Rosebank, Eventually got hold of the hotel, booking in was ok. NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER OR BASIN, phone in room not working to remedy the cold water, Breakfast is terrible, previous nights spagetti bolognese, and steamed vegetables and chicken giblets, no hot chocolate in the coffee machine, no table service in the breakfast restaurant. Really old cheese served. This once great hotel is defenitely not HYAT standard and defenitely not 5 Star. Upon booking out, no apologies offered and laughed off. I will never book there again and neither will I recommend it to anyone.

    No telephones work in any of the rooms and we weren't notified at check-in. This was problematic when 1) the room didn't have a hairdryer and 2) when the light broke. I then had to call the front desk on their normal number and ten calls went unanswered so had to walk to reception for assistance. Lastly, when a hairdryer was brought to my room it arrived with a plug fitting that didn't fit into a single plug socket in the room.
