About this house rental
The Unterthurnerhof is located on the Sonnenberg above Merano. Our farm is situated at an elevation of about 1,200 meters above Riffian, offering a breathtaking view of the Sarntal rock massif and the Merano valley basin.
Surrounded by forests and meadows, this is the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and admire Dorf Tirol, Schenna, and Merano from above.
Enjoy the winter sunshine, build snowmen for young and old alike, and let your mind wander while taking in the breathtaking views—you can experience all this and much more here with us. Hikes—even in the snow—start right from our front door
We’re a small dairy farm, tucked away from noise and bustle. Young and old alike can enjoy a stress-free vacation here, surrounded by fresh air. And for those who still don’t want to miss out on a stroll through town, Merano is only about 13 km away.
Two large bedrooms, each featuring:

In our “Wohlfühlstadl” wellness area, you can perfectly round off your day in the Finnish panoramic sauna with a view of the Sarntal rock massif.
In the large relaxation room, you can unwind after your sauna session under our starry canopy or take a quick nap on one of our floating loungers. The outdoor area offers plenty of space to cool off after a sauna infusion.
The small relaxation room features a changing area with a large rain shower and a Kneipp hose, providing plenty of space to get ready for the sauna.
Enjoy a sip of fresh spring water from our stone basin or a hot infusion drink.
A double garage with direct indoor access to the house is available for the duration of your stay.
Electric vehicles can be charged there for a fee.
