Charming, Private and Fully Furnished Lake Home on Grand Lake

The view was beautiful. The cabin was definitely spacious and plenty of beds for all. Unfortunately we chose the hottest days of the year to go. We had some AC issues but the owner was very accommodating and did everything to help fix the issue.

What a beautiful view and location. This was our first visit to this area and hopefully not our last. The owner was very responsive and helpful to our questions. We rented a pontoon boat about 20 miles away and that such a great day. We barbecued each night and just enjoyed the location.

We arrived on the evening of a full blue moon. As we got the grill prepared we watched a blue moon rise directly above the lake. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting at that moment. Great view and a very well kept home. Five minute drive to the grocery store and a H2o sports rental. Owner is very helpful and guided us directly into the driveway when we took a wrong turn coming in.

This lake house had an amazing view and it was a great location with a covered boat slip which worked out great! The bridge that goes down to the lake was a bit scary and rotted in several places. The listing said there was a loft so we planned on using that for some of the kids. When we arrived there was a sign that said it was leaking and not to use. That was disappointing as we needed the space for the kids. The listing also said there was a grill. It was not in working order so we had to purchase one in town to be able to cook. I had to call twice for questions and only got one call back. The a/c wasn’t cooling the house so I had to call but we worked it out and realized it was the large windows in the house and the air couldn’t keep up. We had to purchase several fans while there also because it was very warm at night and the fan in the downstairs room didn’t work. Overall the house was fairly clean upon arrival but the ants were out of control. I was constantly cleaning and vacuuming to keep the ants away from our food and the kids when they ate. The downstairs bathroom toilet didn’t work the entire stay but there were 3 other restrooms so I didn’t call and bother the owner because we had plenty others to use. Overall our stay went well and it definitely had a beautiful view. Make sure you take your own grill and plenty of ant spray.
