This "Tree House" is a one-of-a-kind home built on stilts sitting amidst the trees! You will feel secluded and surrounded by nature in this unique home where every aspect of your stay will be a truly memorable experience!
The Space:
Pull right up to this adorable home surrounded by the Ozark trees! The hand-laid stone walkway leads you to the front porch and as you walk up the stairs you will immediately notice the craftsmanship of the Mennonite professionals who built this home. The front door is show-shopper of it's own, hand-crafted with castle-like details and brought here from Mexico. As you step inside, your eye will be drawn to the unique colors and eclectic décor that fill the space!
Relax on the caramel leather couch in front of the gas burning fireplace and enjoy your favorite show on the flat screen, smart TV! The full kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to enjoy dining in, including a retro microwave and gold silverware! Pull up a stool at the butcherblock countertop island to keep the cook company. Or step outside onto the back deck, surrounded by trees with a view of Lake Taneycomo, and do some grilling outside! There is also an extra large egg chair on the back deck ready for some relaxing or a good book!
Back inside, the master bedroom is on the main level and outfitted with a king bed and it's own flat screen, smart TV! The only bathroom is plenty spacious and features a floor to ceiling tile shower! Head up the wrought iron staircase to the open loft with two queen beds and beautiful views of the trees! This "Tree House" is sure to be a one of a kind experience!
Guest Access:
The whole home will be yours! And you will have access to this 26 acre property including a trail down to Lake Taneycomo. There is wildlife, great trout fishing and lots of exploring to do!
Other Things to Note:
CANNABIS AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE POLICY: Usage of cannabis (marijuana) and any other federally prohibited drug is not allowed on or near the home, property, or premises. Further, any / all guest(s) may not engage in any illegal drug-related activity, including but not limited to recreational or medical cannabis on or near the home, property, or premises. We reserve the right to immediately terminate the stay if any guest(s) engage in such activities. If this policy is violated, the guest who booked the stay acknowledges and agrees he or she is subject to an immediate fine of $1000 USD, along with any property damages, and eviction. Guests forfeits their stay and will not be permitted to return to the property if there is any evidence of cannabis use on the premises.
Looking for more room! We also have a Tiny Home (located on the right) on the same property that additional guests in your group could book. Enjoy the convenience of being close by but each of you having your own space!

This is a charming rental. It is remote, quiet and very cute! A few important things to note: parking is a little unclear, the natural rock steps to the house are steep (older people/ children might struggle), the spiral staircase is really cute, but very narrow and steep (which, again, would be an issue for some). The fireplace did not work when we arrived. The management responded quickly and got it going for us (they were fantastic)- however, it burned a frame that the owners had left on the top of it. It was very hot! Overall, the house was very clean and cozy, the kitchen was nice, the view was amazing and we slept great!! But, accessibility issues should be noted. It's also very cozy- 1 bathroom, so a family needs to be aware of that as well.
