Lake Colac Holiday Park

We love the place, next to Botanic Gardens and our cabin facing the lake, complete facilities. Very clean.

You can hear movements from next door cabin, walking on floorboards, flushing toilet. Not convenient when you are trying to get some sleep.

On arrival Darren the park manger made me feel very welcome he was so friendly and full of interesting information about Colac . Nothing was to much trouble he was always available to help when and if needed to feel peace and serenity , the park sits close to the lake with a great view of the lake . The wonderful parade of Pelicans on the lake was such a surprise along with the wild ducks , water hens in and along the creek, lush lawns everywhere . Well kept laundry ,toilets and showers . The large fabulous modern camp kitchen filled with all the modern equipment , lots of table and chairs up to date holiday and local attraction and information . Great walking paths between the lake and the park . Well placed seating along the way . Botanical gardens opposite along with playgrounds , picnic tables cafe parking . Well lit areas to feel safe creating extra enjoyment for an evening stroll etc . The new modern cabin l stayed in had everything l needed and more . Showers were hot Microwave ,utensils ,toaster ,jug ,stove top all put to good use . Comfortable bed , side lamps were well placed along with the comfortable velvet dining chairs ,table and the swivel tv . All that l needed for hanging clothing spacious shelves . Split system heating and cooling were excellent . The polished floors , stainless steel fridge ,deep kitchen sink , roomy bathroom . I will definitely come again and happily recommend family and friends . I booked an extra night and thoroughly enjoyed the three glorious days here . Thank-you so much Darren park Manager for your professionalism kindness also for recommending the Lake Colac Bowls Club opposite the Lake and just down the road also to Tracey for welcoming me and the lovely people l met along the way .

There was nothing l didn’t like .

Clean, nice view of Lake Colac. The sun entering through the window warms the cabin.

The only window covering completely obscures the view. A privacy option would be appropriate. Not a lot of room to store luggage. No wifi provided. Paying a lot extra for the view.

Lovely location

Over priced spent a week in nice motels along great ocean Rd and thus cabin was $50 more per night
