The homestay was clean and the water supply from the bore system was perfectly clear and fine for washing up.
Just note that because it uses groundwater, the water has a slight metallic/corroded iron smell when running. It didn't impact our stay at all, but it is good to be aware of if you are sensitive to mineral scents!
