The Haven Cottage Point Sydney

We loved the privacy and sense of remoteness, with the property sitting within the national park, yet it was just a short 15min drive to the Terrey Hills shops. The views were magnificent, with the house sitting right on the water, and the pontoon made it perfect for relaxing or enjoying a spot of fishing. Our host was very welcoming, helpful and generous with his local knowledge. The facilities were excellent for cooking at home, and we also enjoyed a walk to Cottage Point Inn for a special dinner. Visiting in Winter was no issue at all - the house was centrally heated and also had an open fire place.

If arriving on dusk or after dark it would be advisable to have already done your grocery shop, so you don’t have to travel through the National Park after dark - we had all we needed for the first night and breakfast the next day. Plus once you’ve arrived you really just want to enjoy it.

Wonderful location and picturesque views

The property is below the owners property and on the water. It requires some expert advice and introductions that were carefully handed to us. The property is equisite and the hosts were lovely.

Perhaps clearer instruction that there are no shops around. We knew but that might help others.
