Charming Country Cabin- Cozy, Scenic View, HOT TUB, near CMAC

We were looking for a cozy getaway place while visiting the western Finger Lakes area and this is it! We never met our hosts but we were greeted with fresh flowers they put in the cabin for our arrival. We did meet their three horses who grazed in the fenced in meadow located just outside the cabin's front door and deck. We fed the horses with carrots the hosts provided in the fridge. Sunsets over the meadow and the distant hills were serene. The main living room, dining area, and kitchen have a true log cabin interior. It was just the two of us so there was more than enough room (there's an upstairs loft that can sleep two more if needed). The bedroom and bed were very comfortable. We brought supplies for all of our breakfasts in the cabin as well as one dinner meal. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans plates, utensils, dishwashing supplies, etc. as well as all kinds of foods, spices, cooking oils, coffees, teas, hot chocolates, etc. Having simple to operate washing and drying machines was very convenient; there was even clothes washing detergent provided. One of our favorite amenities was the outdoor spa located behind the house and screened by trees. Each night we enjoyed sitting in the spa gazing up at the stars and enjoying a bottle of wine.

The location of the cabin is perfect! Beautiful view. Peaceful property. Enjoyed the hot tub. Well stocked amenities. Excellent communication with owner - very attentive and available. Close proximity to CMAC - we were attending a concert and valued the short ride to and from.

Beautiful views, secluded. Horse pasture including 3 horses located directly in front of cabin is nostalgic.

It’s not a 3 bedroom, it’s 2 with a pull out couch. It’s well water, very strong overwhelming sulfur smell, can’t drink it. I wish that was mentioned in description. Also owners are living about 100 feet from property. They have 3 large dogs, 2 that have full reign of property. Granted they are friendly at close range but don’t appear friendly from a distance as they are charging at you barking. They will enter rental home and garage at will. If you don’t like dogs just running up on you at any given time I would not choose this location. I suggest that people know about the hard water and the dogs prior to renting. Door in kitchen that is locked from the inside, leads to basement is unsettling. Pleasese be more transparent in your listing about the well water and the dogs. Thank you
