Brand new luxury apartment by the slopes, Hemsedal

We had a wonderful summer stay in Fjellandsbyen in Hemsedal, and this apartment was absolutely perfect for our family. The building has fantastic amenities, gym, kids’ playroom and activity room for adults and teenagers with billiards, air hockey and games. The location is excellent, with a supermarket, restaurants, ski shop and bicycle rental all within easy reach. There is also a climbing centre right beside the building, which our kids absolutely loved and visited almost every day during our stay. The chairlift operates every day during the summer, making it easy to explore the beautiful mountains. We took the chairlift up and cycled down, and also enjoyed hiking on the many trails nearby. There is something for everyone, from easy, family-friendly walks to more adventurous hikes. We even enjoyed wading in the river nearby, which was a lovely experience during the summer. The apartment itself was very spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped for families with children. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated games and books for the kids. The apartment also has a proper sauna and a lovely gas fireplace. We also noticed there is a practical ski storage on the first floor. Being able to collect your skis on the way out and store them there before heading up to the apartment makes everything so much easier, especially with children and lots of ski equipment. We can only imagine how magical this place must be in winter, with the ski slopes right in front of the building and such easy access to the chairlift and ski rental. It must truly feel like a winter wonderland! We would love to come back for a winter skiing holiday. A special shout-out to Global Rental Hub for their prompt and helpful communication.
