The villas at Ainur are truly exceptional. Beautifully designed, very modern, and finished to an incredibly high standard, with clear attention to detail throughout. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, making our stay very easy and enjoyable. The view from the villa was absolutely stunning and added so much to the overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Ainur Villas to anyone visiting Saariselkä. We would love to return in the future.

Was a great cosy place to come home to after a good day out in snowy adventures! Loved the sauna, the big glass windows with the forest views, the very comfy beds, and the northern lights at night right from the doorstep!

When we came across Ainur Villas on Booking.com a month or so before our Lapland trip we thought it looked great but we’re a little concerned it didn’t exist as there were no reviews, no website, no social media presence and the location on Google street view just showed a pile of piping. But after doing some digging I was satisfied it was real and took the plunge cancelling the cabin we’d already booked and booking this instead. What a great decision that turned out to be!! To say this place is great would be an understatement. From the minute we booked communication with Kim and the team was great and arriving in Saariselka on a dark December night we were greeted by the warmth and beauty of this stunning property. The view from the living are is simply exceptional. We could have sat looking at the snowy trees for days. Ainur Villas are incredibly well equipped, rarely have I stayed in self catering accommodation and found it to have enough crockery, pans and sharp knives. Not here, there was literally everything we needed. The drying cupboard was a god send and my wife spoke highly of the Dyson-style hairdryer saying it was the best she’s ever found in a hotel. The place is also really well located with just a short 5 minute drive to the village centre and the Northern Lights Village too. Close by there are some great dining options including Laanilan Keivari which serves great local food and well worth a visit. All in all we can’t speak highly enough of this place. We have recommended it to all of our friends planning to come to Lapland and will likely book here again should we come back ourselves. If you’re looking for the perfect place, you just found it!
