Location, location, location! Historical row house with modern amenities located right in the center of downtown Frederick. Walk out your door to find the Carroll Creek walking trail and downtown's best restaurants, shops and more! One block to Market Street, Frederick's main thoroughfare, and one block to Patrick Street and the Weinberg Center.

Step back in time while enjoying contemporary conveniences in this beautifully preserved 1860 row home. Nestled in picturesque downtown Frederick, this cozy "cottage" offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. You have access to the entire house and back patio.

Walk to all of Frederick’s favorite offerings: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, theaters, shopping, historic spots, breweries, distilleries, art galleries, churches and more… We have left a book of local suggestions and our favorites spots for your perusal when you arrive. Our location is also a short drive from hiking, wineries, and several historic battlefields!

Space Details
Kitchen
The kitchen is complete with fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, Keuring, and the other usual suspects such as plates, glasses, utensils, knives, pots, pans, bowls, and other cookware.
Living Space
Enjoy the cozy living room. Relax on the loveseat or read a book on one of the comfy club chairs. Feel free to grab a book from the bookcase. If you like it, take it with you!
Bathroom
Full bathroom with all the expected amenities. You will also be provided with extra toilet paper, fun size soap, shampoo, and conditioner. (There are extra toiletries in the vanity drawer if you forgot something like your toothbrush!)
Master Bedroom
This bedroom has a new queen-size mattress with non-scratchy sheets and cozy blankets. There is an extra pillow, towels, and blankets for your comfort if needed. You will find 2 desks to use how you like along with a reading lamp and 2 night stands. This bedroom is located on the back of the house so you don't hear too much street noise.
Second Bedroom
This bedroom is much like the master, but has a full-size bed with storage, one desk, and full-length mirror. There is an extra pillow, towels, and blankets for your comfort. There is also an iron and ironing board in case your fancy duds have wrinkles. This bedroom is located at the front of the house so you may hear some street noise and voices of passersby. Ear plugs and noise machines are provided should you not be used to city living!
Electronics
A wall mounted TV (that moves on a swivel) in the living room is provided for your viewing pleasure and the bedrooms are electronic-free for relaxation (but have great wifi connection for laptops and tablets).
Nuances:
They don’t build them like they used to! We love the charm of this 165 year old home, but it does come with a few things out of our modern norm: the staircase to the second floor bedrooms and bathroom is a bit steeper than you may be used to, floors are not all perfectly level, the bathroom is located on the second floor, and doorways are fairly narrow.
