Utuado is home to the Indigenous Ceremonial Park, an Island`s precious Taíno legacy dating back more than 800 years. Visit the Rain Forest, caves, rivers, farms, and lakes, they offer a variety of activities. For more to do, check out our guidebooks.
Centrally located. A minute drive from the downtown plaza, by main town businesses, and points of interests. AC, 3 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 2 full, and 1 twin. One bath. Driveway with gated parking. 6 guests maximum, additional charge for more. Solar Power- back up. Security cameras on outside areas. Screened- security windows and doors. Internet, Wi-Fi, HDTV-Roku, Netflix. Fully handicap accessible. Portable water heater in shower warms water- not steaming hot. Laundry area washer & dryer, covered patio, 2 hammocks, sitting and dining area, dominoes tabletop, games, lights, fans, grill, and a cooler.
**Notes-
It is widely known that in tropical climate, sunny, hot and humid year-round, there`s an abundance of insects. The home has screens on doors and windows. However, it is wise to bring insects repellent, and sun block.
House sits on a convenient area, directly on a main- busy road. The sounds of cars, and occasional sirens are a regular part of life here.
If a remote stay is preferred, an uphill mountain stay may suit better.
Park on the gated driveway and walk to the front porch door. House number #23 is posted on the porch wall. Key lockbox is to the right of the front door. Please, follow the self-check in instructions you received two days prior to your arrival. Welcome home!

Convenient-central location, in the heart of Utuado, on Avenida Rolando Cabañas- entrada de San José. Close to everything. 2 minutes` drive to Downtown and Plaza. Nearby local restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, food trucks, pharmacy, gas stations, barber and beauty shops, post office, walking track/sports center. 13 minutes from the Native Indian Ceremonial Park, 10 minutes from Lake Dos Bocas, 13 minutes from Lake Caonillas. Bars within walking distance, 1 minute from hospital. 23 minutes` drive to La Poza beach, and 26 minutes from Playa Saldinera in Hatillo.

A maximum of 6 guests, $25 a night per person for additional guests.
Turn OFF Air conditioners and lights when going out.
Cameras recording outside of property 24/7.
No pets
No smoking - use front sidewalk

Door key is custom made. There will be a charge of $60 for any key that is lost.
In tropical climate there`s an abundance of insects. The home has screens on all doors and windows. However, it is wise to bring insects repellent.
Note- You’ll need your own transportation to get around. There are no Uber or Taxi’s available in Utuado. The closest are in Arecibo.
In Utuado, most businesses close between 9 and 10 pm. Please, plan accordingly.
Our home sits on a convenient area and directly on a main- busy road. The sounds of cars, and occasional sirens are a regular part of life here.
If you want convenient- easy access to all and don’t mind city sounds, our home suits. For some quietness, you would want to stay uphill in the mountains.
Important:
The door that gives access to the laundry and patio, for security reasons, locks from the inside only. This will guarantee exit in the event of an emergency evacuation.
The main entrance door is a security door. it requires one or two key turns to fully open or to lock, from the outside and inside.
