Modern, clean flat in central Helsinki. Easy to get to on public transport and walking around city. Grocery and restaurants nearby in walking distance. Very safe and streets plowed from snow to walk around. Hosts were communicative and met to give keys and helpful with suggestions of local eateries. Access was easy, lift available. Apartment had a full kitchen and was warm and comfortable with multiple seating areas. The sauna was nice to experience. Overall a great place to experience downtown Helsinki from.
We booked this property since there were 3 bedrooms. There were 3 sleeping areas but no doors or wall separation so not soundproofed. It was difficult to make coffee or stay up talking without keeping everyone up with noise travelling. For our group, it was fine, but the stairs to the loft were quite steep and the furniture and power outlets very low to the floor due to the sloping ceilings. It would be a challenge for my family's young children and elderly parents and I might not have realised that beforehand. For a 2-night stay we made it work and had a great introduction to Finland's capital staying in its heart.
