This unit welcomes pets—specifically dogs, weighing less than 30 pounds—with a nonrefundable pet fee of $100 per pet (plus tax). Additionally, Sandpiper Cove collects a $10 fee per pet on-site. Up-to-date shot records are required at check-in. While dogs are allowed in the community, they are not permitted on the beach. Please note that no beaches in Destin or Okaloosa County are pet-friendly.
The registered guest assumes full responsibility for any pet-related damages or additional cleaning required. Pets, except for service animals, are strictly prohibited in non-pet-friendly units. By bringing a pet, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
✔ 850 Beach Property, LLC, and all related parties are not liable for any claims or actions resulting from pet behavior.
✔ Only domesticated dogs or cats are allowed.
✔ Your pet must be up to date on all vaccinations (records will be checked at the gate).
✔ Pets cannot enter non-pet-friendly units under any circumstances.
✔ No unattended pets are allowed outside.
✔ Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly.
✔ Pets must be leashed at all times unless the unit has a fenced yard.
✔ Pets must not cause nuisance or hazards to others.
✔ Pets must not have a history of aggressive behavior.
✔ Owners assume full responsibility for their pet’s actions and well-being.

-If the primary guest will not be present at check-in, at least one guest must be 25 years old or older to check-in. Please inform your host in advance so we can notify the gate and ensure proper access for your group.
-We do not hold keys to mailbox units and cannot guarantee the delivery of packages or mail during your stay. We highly recommend not sending mail or packages to the property.
-Each condominium is allocated only two parking spaces and two parking passes per unit. There is no assigned parking.
-To secure a boat dock space, please visit the Sandpiper Cove website and submit a request. Please note that there is a fee for renting dock space. Please be aware that trailers or boats cannot be parked inside Sandpiper Cove. For trailer, boat, or jet ski parking arrangements, we recommend contacting facilities in the Destin, FL area.
-Sandpiper Cove is gated with 24 hour Security Guards for your protection.
-NO SMOKING is permitted inside the condo or on the balcony. Any violations will result in charges, automatic eviction, and forfeiture of refund.
You will receive a door code via email within 48 hours of check-in, ensuring a contactless and convenient check-in experience.

Host was very accommodating for any of our needs, and friendly. Unit smelled very clean upon arrival. Did find one hair in the bed, and the accent couch pillows did have some dog hair on them from previous stays , but kind of to be expected to some extent with a pet friendly unit. We just didn’t use those cushions and used covers on the furniture, problem solved!*Disclaimer to those who value privacy: The only drawback with the unit itself was that there was absolutely no privacy on the back deck. Walking paths along the side and back of the unit allow anyone to walk freely around you , and the unit is directly adjacent to the 8th green of the golf course . You are within an arms reach off of the deck to people that are on the green playing. Since there is no solid privacy fence on that side of the deck, you are constantly within view of players if you are sitting on the deck.not exactly relaxing constantly having a group of strangers staring at you while standing on the green waiting for their shot. Overall, we feel like the unit was a good value for the price , just probably not the greatest fit for singles or couples who really enjoy a quiet relaxing patio. Save it for night time.

Our stay at this unit was wonderful. Unit has been newly renovated and just as advertised on VRBO. Newly refurbished deck with all day sun. The sunsets are remarkable, one suggestion would be to have an umbrella to use as shade on the deck. Would definitely return.
