Tranquil Views is a bright and welcoming home with plenty of space for the whole family.
This family-friendly bach features a comfortable queen bedroom and a fantastic mezzanine floor with three fun spaces for the kids to hang out. Two of the mezzanine areas each have a single bed and built-in cubbies for storage, while the third space includes a double futon. All the rooms have windows, making them light, cheerful, and inviting.
There’s one bathroom, and the open-plan living area is bright and spacious with comfortable couches, a Smart TV, and access to the fabulous deck where guests can take in stunning views across Whangamata and out to the ocean.
Enjoy meals together at the indoor dining table or make use of the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and coffee machine. Fire up the BBQ and dine outdoors on the comfortable deck seating while soaking up the views. It’s the perfect spot for an evening drink under the stars or a lazy afternoon in the hammock.

Take a kayak tour to Donut Island or take a trip or hike to Wentworth Falls. There are plenty of shops and cafes in the town or take a drive out to Opoutere Beach and check out the Coastal Bird Reserve, or grab your paddleboard and head to the estuary where the waters are a bit calmer. Let’s not forget that Whangamata is home to the famous Beach Hop held every March for a week where vintage cars, caravans and motorbikes from all around NZ are showcased. Vintage markets are operating and it’s a family-friendly party atmosphere not to be missed!
