Bobs Yer Uncle in Port Dalhousie

We loved the location and the houseboat. The people in the marina were very nice and were super friendly. When it was not raining and when the sun was out, the boat was awesome.

We were on the houseboat for 2 nights. The first night was great, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the lake views. However, we had planned to grill some fish, since the amenities included a grill, but the propane tank was empty and we were unable to grill 😞 We happened to be at the boat one day and night that it poured rain. While predicting the weather is impossible, we had fun in town. One complaint would be that the boat has a few leaks. The bathroom in the boat had standing water in the morning. We mainly used the marina facilities that were nice, but to use the mirror required standing in about an inch of water. The upper bed has a port above it. During heavy rain, this port leaks and the middle of the bed was pretty wet. I was able to scoot close to the wall to avoid the drips, but for the price of staying here, I would hope for a dry bed, rain or shine. There were so many positive things about our stay and we would definitely come back. The rain was likely heavier than normal and leaks are expected, but having an extra or partially filled propane tank could have been easy fixed.
