Bad experience at Plattekloof Queens

Situated in a very nice area.

This is one big house with rooms that can be entered only from the inside. Upon my arrival there was approximately 10 male guests in and outside. Cooking and swimming ect. This made me as a women very uncomfortable to share the space with my son and daughter. This was not declared at the time of booking. Not a good idea to to book if you are a lady. I canceled immediately but they don't want to refund me.

I had a wonderful stay

Cleanliness, comfort as we had a family room with a private bathroom 👌and kindness of staff is on a higher level ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location was not so great for my attractions (Table Mountain, Camps Bay beach, VA water front) as I had to spend more on the rides, access to the facility is a complete let down, the host who answers the call during confirmation sounds so unwelcoming. Lastly, cockroaches in the kitchen and in the room we were in that was a disappointment.

Was the worst experience of my life.

Nothing

Nothing hot water so I could not shower. Irritating flies keep you up. No lock on toilet door I was disturbed 5 x by people just walking in while I was sitting in the toilet. Air con does not work instead they left a fan. On arrival there was loud music and a party. Owner refused to refund me when I said I booked a room with a private bathroom, the advertising was misleading! I slept in car until it got quiet and I slipped in late at night into my room. Was the worst experience of my life and I will never stay there again. I will remove this review provided I get my full refund!
