The cottage was cosy & well equipped. Dishwasher, cooker, washing machine, tidy garden. A minutes walk to The Bowling Green pub which had a nice outdoor seating area. 5 minutes walk into Wells. A great base for exploring the surrounding area, perfect beaches & brilliant wildlife.
The oven is quite old. It did work but could do with updating. We found the electric storage heater in the bedroom a bit fiddly to control and switch off. Also the bedroom door is glass which lets a lot of light into the bedroom early in the morning from the landing windows which have no curtains. Salt and pepper would’ve been nice too.
