The Pond House Trentham

It was the perfect countryside getaway for our family, you don't need to leave the property! We loved the fire pit, pond (and canoe) and the beautiful property surrounds. Plenty of space for everyone to gather together, but also to enjoy some own time and for the kids to play. We'd love to come back!

There's nothing - it is a wonderful place. If we were to try to think of something, it would be the the fishing rods were missing parts and we couldn't use them, but not an issue at al -they were an extra bonus to find!

The house was the perfect size for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Each family had their own bathroom and there was plenty of space in the dining and living room to cater for us all. The indoor fireplace provided plenty of warmth, and the beautiful big windows let us enjoy the view of the pond even when it was too cold and wet to be outside. The outdoor area was wonderful, the fire pit, spa and trampoline were all well used and there was plenty of room for the kids to fish and kick the footy. The games room was great, the table tennis, card and board games all got used and were perfect when we had a rainy day during our stay. Nicoletta was a wonderful host. She was so thoughtful in ensuring the bedding configuration suited us, sending photos of the ducklings to look out for during our stay, stocking the fridge and pantry with breakfast items and snacks that were so appreciated and showed just how much care goes into ensuring guests have a wonderful visit. She truly thought of everything that a guest could possibly need. We go away as a group each year and The Pond House has been our favourite place that we have stayed. The home and the location are perfect and we all agreed that we would gladly make The Pond House where we go for annual trips away.

The location is spectacular. The pond, the trees, the sounds of the frogs. Such an idyllic place.

Excellent property with a beautiful view of the pond.
