Can hear traffic noise from main road at night (if not used to it)

Large house, big backyard. Well appointed kitchen! Good stay!

Comfortable and tidy home from which to explore Bowral, we would definitely stay here again. Very comfortable and large sofas. I liked how several fleecy blankets were provided which was great for cooler weather. Heating system excellent for warming the entire house. Loved the sunroom out the back - lovely to relax in and watch the birds in the trees. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious. I liked how there were real plants inside - gave a much more home-like feel compared to fake plants! Walkable distance or short drive to go into Bowral shops area. Plenty of easy car parking at the property. Also, you are asked not to wear shoes on the carpet in the bedrooms which I really liked because it means the carpet looks like new and is really clean

Only downside was one of the bathrooms had a tendency for water to leak from the sink and onto the floor (but there is a 2nd bathroom which was fine). Property is on a main road and near a train line so there is a bit of reasonably constant background noise - we got used to this pretty quickly and stopped noticing it but good to know about in advance.
