lake view apartment 湖畔别墅

Frank was great, collected us from the airport and stopped so we could pick up supplies. The view across the lake was fantastic. it was quiet and comfortable. Basic cooking facilities

We knew we'd be out of town so were happy to catch local buses, but didn't realise that it was difficult to get buses at night.

Next to the lake that I really enjoyed the lake view. All cooking facilities you need.

Loved my short stay at the lake view apartment. Communication with the host (Frank) was very good. My apartment had the lake view with an AC bedroom and full bathroom upstairs and a half bathroom/wash machine, living area and kitchen downstairs. Both floors have balconies. It was spacious and very comfortable. Quite modern. I had my own private pool which unfortunately I didn’t have time to use. The location is not too far from a au bon marche market certainly very convenient if you have a car. Super safe with private parking in a gated area. I arrange transportation with the Frank which definitely helped my short stay and to learn a bit about Port Vila. I highly recommended this place!

We could cook our own meals which was good but limited to two pans & one pot so simple meals only. Frank the owner was easy to deal with & gave us new towels & sheets during our stay & was quick to respond to any concerns. They have their own plunge pools per apartment.

The sewage smell in toilets/shower were really bad you had to keep doors shut so you didn’t stink out apartment & finding out you had to put used toilet paper in a bin because it couldn’t be flushed.Our bedroom had a musty yucky smell which negatively affected our breathing so I think it was mildew, the beds are just a thin memory foam topper no actual mattress so not good if you have back injuries like us. Our apartment wasn’t clean upon arrival so I brought a cleaning spray & did it myself, it looked & felt like whoever lived there just left it as it was & walked out before we arrived. If these apartments all had a proper deep clean & the sewage was sorted it would have be so much nicer. There is room for improvement..
