Starhill Lake Retreat

I had a wonderful stay at Ipoh Star Hill Lake Retreat! I really love the house — it’s very comfortable, clean, and feels just like home. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect for me, as it’s very convenient and close to where I needed to be. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this place to others. Looking forward to coming back again!

However, the customer service was quite disappointing. Responses were very slow, and there was no reply when I initially asked about early check-in. Only a day before my stay, after I managed to find a contact number and reached out via WhatsApp, I was told they would inform me later — but communication was still unclear. Since I traveled all the way from Melaka to Ipoh for a family function, I was hoping to check in earlier to freshen up before the event. Unfortunately, the lack of timely and helpful responses made the experience frustrating.
