Toucan Cabaña at Inn The Trees -Gold Standard Certified

We stayed at the Toucan with our 2 adult daughters. They took the loft with the pull out sofa, we took the main bedroom. The place is adorable - a fantastic value for the price and was an enjoyable place to base our vacation in Placencia. It had a nice private feel to both the unit and the area, being a nook off the highway. Our host was readily available by text and checked in with us before and throughout our stay. There were a couple of agoutis / gibnuts that came out in the morning - super cute. We had a rental car which made this location work great.

Small details would improve future stays: - no real storage for clothing - a couple of shelves and a half height hanging area were very minimal so we mostly lived out of our suitcases. Even just additional hanging options would be super useful - eg rails behind the sofa up in the loft - given the beach/water activities, there wasn't any real area to hang things to dry. I brought a camping laundry line and used the hooks for the hammock but something in the veranda would be handy to dry out beach/water items
