Chic Hideaway - Downtown Hotspot

Felt homely, with appropriate furnishings and smart TV. The location was great for walking to old port/ town and to place des Artes for good street vibe. Two IGA supermarkets within 10 minute walk and smaller grocery store opposite Laurent station. There is a security guy that works in the evenings that makes you feel safe. At time of my stay , everybody I met in the building was also a tourist . Apartment is surprisingly very quiet. The only noise is from the street. Thursday to Saturday- the pub and club may be a bit noisy. I was out myself so it didn’t matter for me. All the amenities that I used worked. Great storage in bathroom however kitchen lacked cupboard space and could do with a foot stool so the cupboards could be reached. Plenty wine glasses, but could do with more regular glasses. 3 was not enough. Otherwise a well stocked kitchen. Practical points for future guests: 1. Key fob is in the kitchen drawer. This gives you access to terrace and the second entry door on the ground floor. 2. When you come down in lift press RC for exit level. 3. Push the apartment door back and forth to ensure it is closed position. 4. Look over your shoulder on entry to the block. Whilst there are homeless communities in the neighbouring streets they are usually harmless but one did attempt entry. The homelessness is all over the city. If you are the type to be unaffected than this represents an excellent choice for a short or longer stay.

The apartment was very clean, after I believe recent renovation, modern style design. All appliences is new, bedsheets, furniture is in great condition. Everything in description is matches. Best value-price/comfort. Location is within 800 m-1,5 km to many major attractions, but quiet in same time, unbelievable. We had impressed!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut! Wenige Gehminuten zur U-Bahn. Mit dem Bus ist die Unterkunft vom Flughafen ohne umsteigen zu erreichen (+ anschiessend 5 Gehminuten). Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super. Er hat innerhalb wenigen Minuten auf meine Nachrichten geantwortet. Eine sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist auch in ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen (Nahe der U-Bahnstation Beeri-UQAM (1 Minute weiter geradeaus zu Fuss). Das Centre Bell ist für einen Hockeymatch auch nicht weit.

Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung entsprach nicht meinen Ansprüchen. Auf eine Nachreinigung habe ich von mir aus verzichtet. Ich habe dies meinem Vermieter mitgeteilt und ich gehe davon aus, dass es künftig besser sein wird.
